Charlotte, North Carolina (Nascar Fun)

We recently spent a few days in the Charlotte, North Carolina area prior to traveling on to Myrtle Beach during our Spring Break from school. The boys are big Nascar fans, and we were able to visit many of their favorite team shops.

We began our stay in Charlotte trying to dodge bad weather. There were tornado warnings in the county where we were staying and later learned that there were in fact 8 reported in the area. We spent about an hour and a half in the hallways of our hotel. Thankfully the storm eventually passed without any harm to our family.

The next morning the boys were excited to get out and tour this big Nascar city. Our first stop was at Stewart-Haas Racing for Karsen, and then off to Dale Earnhardt, Inc. for all of the family, and finally we finished the day at Hendrick Motorsports for Kaden. We were also able to drive past Lowes Motor Speedway as our hotel was located less than a mile from it. We all had a great time, and the boys look forward to hopefully another visit in the future so that we can see the Nascar Hall of Fame that is set to open in May of this year.
